1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BOFFO ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BOFFO is a financial document processing platform designed for family offices. The Service provides automated extraction of financial data from bank statements, portfolio reports, and other financial documents, along with analytics and reporting capabilities.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • One person or entity per account unless otherwise agreed

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload malicious files or content
  • Attempt to access other users' data
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Overload or interfere with the Service infrastructure

5. Email Integration

When connecting your email account (Gmail/Outlook):

  • You authorize us to access emails from senders you specify
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to process these documents
  • You can revoke access at any time through your account settings

6. Data Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to your documents and data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your documents for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your financial data.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We will provide notice when possible for planned maintenance.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. AI Extraction and Accuracy Disclaimer

BOFFO uses artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning technologies to extract and process financial data from documents. While we continuously work to improve accuracy, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-powered extraction may contain errors. The Service uses advanced AI models to interpret documents, but these systems are not perfect and may misinterpret, miss, or incorrectly extract information.
  • You are responsible for verification. You must review all extracted financial data for accuracy before relying on it for any purpose, including financial decisions, tax reporting, or investment analysis.
  • BOFFO is not liable for AI errors. We are not responsible for any losses, damages, or consequences arising from inaccurate or incomplete data extraction. This includes but is not limited to investment losses, tax penalties, or missed opportunities.
  • Not financial advice. The Service is a document processing tool, not a source of financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Always consult with qualified professionals for financial decisions.
  • Continuous improvement. We use feedback and corrections to improve our AI models, but accuracy may vary by document type, bank, and format.

Important: Always verify extracted data against original documents before making financial decisions. BOFFO provides tools to assist with data extraction, but final responsibility for data accuracy rests with you.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease, and we will delete your data within 30 days unless you request earlier deletion or data export.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Israel. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Tel Aviv, Israel.
